About Rashi.

My name is Rashi Mittal. I’m a responsible and empathetic individual who genuinely enjoys helping others and solving problems. Driven by ambition and a competitive spirit, I thrive on challenges and never back down. Many of my peers see me as a natural leader; someone who values diverse perspectives while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. I take pride in my communication skills and feel confident in social settings. Public speaking is a passion of mine, as it allows me to share my views and connect with others meaningfully. I also excel in dancing and actively participate in various co-curricular activities, including sports.

Academics are equally important to me. I’ve consistently performed well in examinations and maintain a strong balance between studies and extracurriculars. Debating is another area where I shine, and I’ve proudly served on my school’s student council for three consecutive years. What fuels my journey is the desire to make my parents proud. Their love and support inspire me to aim higher and work harder every day. My ambition is not just personal; it’s deeply rooted in gratitude and the hope of becoming someone they’re proud to call their daughter.

Achievements.

I participated in a debate competition last year and won second award. From that competition I learned rigorous and critical thinking and how to find weak points about your opponents in addition to strengthening my oral presentation. I participated in many on the spot drawing competitions which forced me to be more creative and think out of the box and even won a few of them. I went many levels up in Aryabhata competition. I won first prize in a Britannia quiz. There is an endless list of dance competitions that I participated in and won, mostly FIRST PRIZE, my flexibility and ability to adapt to different dance forms helped me in my journey. I am a good skater too who won many medals but due to my medical condition during the pandemic I took a break from it. These co-curricular activities helped me have better social skills, broaden my perspective and even improve academic progress. Skating helped me be active, dancing kept me fit.

Lessons from Extracurricular Activities

Last year, I had participated in a nukkad natak that taught me valuable lessons like how to stay calm under pressure, embrace team spirit, and grow through shared experiences. Through various dance competitions, I learnt to appreciate my opponents and treat every opportunity as a chance to learn. In one of the competitions, I spoke about earthquake management, where our team focused on strategies to protect buildings. This experience helped me realize that feeling scared or nervous is natural and moments like this can spark meaningful growth.

Together, these experiences shaped my mindset, teaching me that resilience, collaboration, and willingness to learn are the true foundations of one’s growth.
